BERGEY'S CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM HAS RECEIVED THE 2017 CUSTOMER FIRST AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE
Bergey's Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram has received the 2017 Customer First Award for Excellence for a second year in a row. They were one of 124 dealerships nationwide to receive the inaugural 2016 award and now one of 387 to receive the 2017 award. It recognizes elite dealerships across that country that are leaders in customer sales and service experience.
FCA US created the Customer First Award for Excellence with its dealer partners and J.D. Power to improve customer satisfaction with Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships in the United States with a specific focus on the sales and service experience, employee training and facility condition.
All 2,600 Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships are eligible to pursue and earn this prestigious award on an annual basis. Dealerships must achieve stringent goals in five core "pillars" to earn the coveted Customer First Award for Excellence designation: facility certification, performance measures, training certification, employee surveys and process validation.
BERGEY'S CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM HAS EARNED THE WALTER P. CHRYSLER CLUB AWARD
FCA US announced that Bergey's Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram has earned the Walter P. Chrysler Club Award, the Company's highest recognition for overall sales and Mopar parts sales performance. Bergey's was one of only 35 Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram dealerships nationwide to receive this prestigious award and it's the first time the dealership has received the award.
The Walter P. Chrysler Club was established by Chrysler as a way to nationally recognize its leading dealerships and thank them for their hard work, dedication and overall performance in sales, service, and parts. All 2,600 Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships have the opportunity to pursue and earn this award annually.

ANNOUNCING SEVERAL KEY CHANGES TO BERGEY'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS
We would like to announce several key changes to Bergey's Board of Directors.
Lee Delp, the Chairman of the Board, retired at the end of 2016. He brought a wealth of business experience and helped guide many significant changes over the years. We would like to thank him for his 13 years of dedicated service to the company.
Phil Clemens joined Bergey's Board of Directors in 2016. He brings a wide array of business knowledge and family business expertise. Phil is the former Chairman and CEO of The Clemens Family Corporation, a holding company that owns the well-known brand, Hatfield Quality Meats of Hatfield, Pennsylvania. He has spent his entire working career with the Clemens Family Corporation. He actively serves in the community, supporting businesses and organizations such as Lancaster Bible College, North Penn United Way, Calvary Church of Souderton and many more.
Jack Kreischer and Tony Chivinski joined the Board of Directors in 2017. With their addition, Bergey's will have three outside directors for the first time in the company's 93-year history.
Jack founded Kreischer Miller, a regional certified public accounting firm located in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Today, the firm is one of the largest independent regional CPA firms in the country. In addition to serving as Managing Partner of Kreischer Miller for 27 years, he has specialized in providing support services to construction businesses, manufacturing companies and investment managers, with special emphasis on the intergenerational transfer of family businesses.
Tony currently provides advisory and consulting services to business leaders. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer for Pennfield Corporation, a large, closely held agribusiness headquartered in Lancaster, PA and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co. as a CPA. Tony has a strong knowledge of finance, strategic planning, business operations and team development. He has been very active and holds various board and leadership positions including the Willow Valley Associates, Berks Packing Company and Thaddeus Stevens College to name a few.
The 2017 Board of Directors include Glenn Bergey, Duane Bergey, Ruth A. Bergey, Mark Bergey, Phil Clemens, Jack Kreischer and Tony Chivinski.
BERGEY'S TRUCK CENTERS ACQUIRES HARVEY TRUCK CENTERS
Bergey's Truck Centers is excited to announce that it has acquired Harvey Truck Centers. This acquisition results in the addition of two new full service truck dealerships located in New Castle, Delaware and Delmar, Maryland. Bergey's Truck Centers will have eight truck center locations with this acquisition covering southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
These new locations are authorized dealers for Mack and Volvo Trucks and in addition the Delmar location will be an authorized Fuso Truck dealer. Both locations will provide new truck sales, used truck sales, truck service and parts, as well as truck rental and leasing.

BERGEY'S PURCHASES YOCUM FORD IN LANSDALE, PA
Bergey's is pleased to announce that it has purchased Yocum Ford in Lansdale, PA. The dealership has been renamed Bergey's Ford of Lansdale and is the company's second Ford dealership, joining Bergey's Ford in Ambler, PA. The acquisition will enable Bergey's to broaden their sales, service and parts network in the Lansdale and Hatfield area.

Each year AAA East Central, East Penn Region recognizes a limited number of AAA Approved Auto Repair (AAR) facilities for their business integrity, professional standards in automotive repair, and outstanding customer service. Bergey's Collision Center received the 9th annual AAA Top Shop honor for 2014. This award is given to repair facilities that scored 97% or higher in ongoing customer satisfaction surveys during the past year. The evaluations are monitored and processed by AAA.

REMEMBER THE PAST... BERGEY'S SINCE 1924
1924 was the year of the Ford Model T Touring, the first Presidential radio broadcast from the White House and the beginning of Bergey's legacy in the transportation industry.
In May of 1924, Norman L. Bergey opened Franconia Garage in Franconia, PA. Converted from a horse-shoeing shop, the 2-car auto repair garage gainfully employed 3 mechanics. Because of Norman's businessman's savvy and gentleman's code, Franconia Garage thrived, even during the Great Depression. Understanding the importance of family, Norman's sons became part owners of the business in 1956 and renamed the shop Bergey's Garage.
Throughout its 90-year history, Bergey's has remained a family-owned business. Although it has expanded with new products, services, locations and state-of-the-art technology, Bergey's foundations have and always will be at the core of the company.
Norman's drive for quality customer service, commitment to excellence and promise to always treat customers the way that he wanted to be treated are instilled in the very marrow of Bergey's.

BERGEY'S TRUCK CENTERS AWARDED HINO TRUCK FRANCHISE
A brand new Hino medium-duty truck franchise officially opened for business at Bergey's Truck Centers this month. The Souderton franchise is Bergey's second location to join the country's growing network of more than 180 Hino dealers.
"Since it entered the U.S. market in 1984, Hino's evolution really caught our attention," says Steve Rybacki, Bergey's medium duty truck manager. "Aside from being a member of the Toyota Group and America's fastest growing medium duty truck manufacturer, Hino has proven itself with several customer satisfaction awards from J.D. General Motors has awarded Bergey's Chevrolet of Colmar the GM Certified Used Vehicles Sales Leader Award. The GM Certified Used Vehicles program honors the top-selling dealership in the northeast region every year. Bergey's Chevrolet beat out 663 GM Certified Used Vehicles dealers, selling nearly 700 vehicles overall. They joined the Certified Used Vehicles program in 1998 and have served the northern Pennsylvania area for 36 years. "All our dedicated employees, teamwork and top-notch customer service made this possible," said Glenn Bergey. U.S. REPRESENTATIVE JIM GERLACH VISITS CONSHOHOCKEN TRUCK CENTER
Ed Brown, Vice President of Commercial Truck Sales for Bergey's Truck Center (Mack, Volvo & Isuzu) in Conshohocken, PA, provided U. S. Rep. (R-PA) with a dealership tour on July 6th. Rep. Gerlach sponsored the Heavy Truck Tax Fairness Act of 2012 (H.R.4321) which would repeal the excise tax on heavy trucks and trailers sold at retail and increase the diesel fuel tax. Rep. Gerlach asked several questions including how truck dealers and their customers were dealing with rising diesel fuel prices and freight costs, whether interest in natural gas powered trucks was increasing, and if any local efforts were underway at community colleges to increase the number of service technicians. Also in attendance were Mark Stine, Executive Vice President of the Pennsylvania Automotive Association, Patrick Calpin from the HADA-ATD legislative office, dealership employees Rob Horner and Rick Ciesielka, and Steve O'Kane, President of A. Duie Pyle, a transportation and logistics provider, which is one of Bergey's largest customers.

Bergey's Truck Centers recently purchased the assets of O'Shea Truck Center in Trenton, NJ, bringing its total locations to seven. The newest truck center is located at exit 3B off I-195 in Trenton, NJ. As the oldest Mack dealership in the Northeast region and the third oldest in the country, O'Shea Truck Center has more than 75 years of history meeting customers' transportation needs.
